Working with the National Roads Authority and the South Eastern Local Authorities the Tramore Regional Design Office is responsible for the implementation and administration of the following Road Safety Schemes;

Low Cost Accident Remedial Measures, Traffic Calming,

1). Low Cost Accident Remedial Measures (LCRM).

The Low Cost Accident Remedial Measures Scheme has been in operation since 1994. It was set-up to try and eliminate locations with a high accident history from the National Roads Network. Since the year 2000 the scheme has been extended to include Non-National Roads the funding for this scheme is provided by the Department of the Environment.
